FINANCIAL AID – FOOD BASKETS- SOCIAL EVENTS
Our charitable actions address also various social opportunities to help children and their families in rural and urban areas :

· Distribution of Ramadan Food baskets
On the occasion of the holy month of RAMADAN, Morocco Foundation organizes the campaign for the distribution of food baskets in favor of needy families in rural and in urban area / Casablanca and surroundings.
Every Ramadan, we try to distribute 500 to 1000 baskets in order to help the families by offering necessary food products for this holy month.
The basket is generally composed of : ( non-exhaustive list )
Dates – 2 kg Milk – 6 L
Oil – 5L Vermicelli – 1 kg
Flour – 10 kg Pasta – 1kg
Chickpeas – 2 kg Couscous – 1 kg
Lentils – 2 kg Tea – 1 kg
Canned tomatoes Coffee
Honey – 850g Canned fish
Sugar – 5 kg Boxes of square cheese
The estimated price of the basket is approximatively 500 Mad
· Visits and events to social centers
Organising and sharing happy and joyful with the Moroccan community Is also our way to give back and create memories. In that matter, the Association organizes diverse events and visits.
For instance, we program visits during all religious occasions in different social centers such as rehabilitation centers, retirement home … to create a family atmosphere full of joy and love. During those events, we program in favor of the residents: activities, musical animations, gifts … we also share a delicious meal together.
The association also organize the end of year celebrations with the school groups we work with during the year. During these celebration, music, entertainment, games, clowning, snacks, gifts for good students… are on the program in a festive atmosphere with the participation of all the children, the teachers and the association members.
· Financial aid
In order to help the neediest families, we call on our network of donors to raise money and be able to distribute different types of financial aid.
This surge of solidarity can be achieved through:
- Financing of families of orphans with monthly financial assistance for a period of time. – the distribution of supermarket vouchers or donations to families during Ramadan, the covid period…
- Sponsoring several families during Eid Al Adha celebrations
· Well construction
Water is essential and vital; thus no one should be deprived of it. For this reason, contributing to the construction of wells near places of life in isolated regions seemed essential to us. In addition to improving their living conditions, the creation of wells is also a major health benefit.
The construction of these wells will allow to:
- Provide access to pure and sustainable water
- Guarantee regular and local access to water
- Facilitates a better hygiene for cooking, eating, washing ….
- Avoid families long repeated walks and the transport of heavy containers
