This is pretty simple: The Morocco Foundation and all the people who benefited from its actions would not exist today if it was not to the efforts, time and energy of its volunteers since 2004.  Since then we have welcomed and collaborated with dedicated volunteers who only wished to bring joy to those seeking our help.

As we start 2011, we are proud to say that the Morocco Foundation has been a trailblazer within our community in the US, a growing community of individuals who want to help without being on a payroll and without being recognized or rewarded. We have joined forces with worldwide networks to allow volunteers from as far as Sri Lanka and as close as Washington DC to join in our work. Our volunteer are from all walks of life, ages and faiths, they bring knowledge and expertise such grants writing, IT and software engineering, medical and nursing experience, business administration and banking, architecture and knitting…you name it, all are welcome.

Our volunteers, which include the founders and the board of directors, are the spirit, the reason and the drive that fuel the Morocco Foundation.  Our volunteers selflessly give so that other can benefit from our actions a world away, be it in Iraq, Afghanistan or Morocco, without ever paying for servicesand goods.
