Nadia Serhani

Co-founder – Board Member
Mrs. Nadia Serhani- Washington DC
Nadia was born and raised in Casablanca and migrated to the US in 2000. She earned her stripes after a Bachelor in Business Administration from ISITT/Taniger, the University of Geneva and Vanderbilt University combined with a 14 years career in US & International Human Capital management. In 2011, She co-founded her second small business venture in global talent acquisition and logistics support ( She still serves (since 2007) as the U.S Member to the CCME – Council of Moroccans Living Abroad, created by His Majesty King Mohamed VI. In addition to being a co-founder of the Morocco Foundation, Nadia is also a founding member of AMLEN: The American Moroccan Legal Empowerment Network providing legal assistance to members of the community. She is also a founding and managing member of the AMCN: American Moroccan Competencies Network established in New York connecting Moroccan experts and entrepreneurs in the US with stakeholders in Morocco to fulfill the Human Development strategy of Morocco.
Nadia is very active within the Moroccan community in the US with a special interest to the questions of integration for the new comers to the US, The Retirement issue and The detention of migrants.

Houda Benaoussar

Mrs. Houda Benaoussar
Houda Rabah was born and raised in Rabat . When she graduated from Mohamed V University with a Bachelor degree in Economics, she decided to move to the USA with a dream to continue her post graduate studies at any major university in the Northeast. As any foreigner immigrating to a new land, she experienced many hardships where the future was unknown and uncertain. However, bright future will always follow those who work hard and stay focused within their path. In 2002 she graduated from Rutgers University with a Master degree in Quantitative Finance. In 2003, she graduated from New Jersey City University with a Master degree in Mathematics. Currently, she is a graduate student seeking her Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from the New School University of New York. Also, she is currently a senior financial analyst with a major US insurance firm.
She is a proud Moroccan and her love to Morocco and its people never changed. She always dreamed of making a difference in her homeland and giving something back to the people and this is the exact reason why establishing such organization is a stepping stone toward community service and rebuilding Morocco.
She is a very proud member of this board and she looks forward to seeing more prosperity, love and success in taking this organization to a whole new level.

Nabil Saimi

Maati Benmbarek

Board Member & Treasurer
Born and raised in Rabat, Maati Benmbarek left Morocco as a teenager to go surf the pacific and finish his business studies. With a Baccalaureate in Business & Accountancy from Rabat, he left for San Francisco in the booming time of 2000.
After an internship in Deloitte Paris and a Degree in Business Economics and Accounting from the University of California at Los Angeles – UCLA, Maati joined the audit practice of Deloitte – San Francisco and worked mostly in the Venture Capital/Private Equity Industry.
Maati Benmbarek is currently the Director of Finance & Asset Manager for Klein Financial Corporation, a real estate investment firm specializing in multifamily residential and affordable housing. Prior to joining Klein Financial Corporation, Maati worked at Stockbridge Capital Group (SCG) where he managed the finances of a multi-billion dollar real estate portfolio. Prior to SCG, he was the Finance Manager for multiple funds at AMB Capital Partners, an industrial real estate portfolio. Since he moved to California, Maati became member of Techwadi, Silicon Valley’s premier professional association for Arab-American, Silicon-French, a business network for Silicon Valley Francophiles and AMPA, Association of Moroccan Professionals in America.
He is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in the State of California. Maati speaks four languages

Nabil Saimi

“Nabil Saimi was born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco. After a bachelor in Applied Mathematics and Physics, he flew to Canada to pursue his learning quest, where he went to grad school to earn a Master in Applied Maths and Computer Science. He is a Ph.D candidate in Quantitative Finance at McGill/HEC-Montreal. He has also completed multiple executive programs in Energy Economics and Public-Private Partnerships at UC Berkeley, Stanford University and Harvard University. He has been a lecturer at HEC-Montreal, where he taught Probability, Statistics and Option and Derivatives theory. Nabil works currently as a Senior Executive Advidor as well as Director of International Cooperation at Masen, the Moroccan Agency for Solar Energy, where his is responsible for the development of the Export business of solar energy, and managing the international cooperation projects. His previous experiences, include a Senior Quantitative Analyst position at Pacific Gas & Electric Company, in San Francisco, CA, where he was involved in procurement and energy storage optimization, financial hedging activities and renewable projects valuation. His previous experiences include also an investment banking experience, as exotic derivatives senior analyst for CDP Capital in Canada, and Risk management position at Hydro-Quebec. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).”

Driss Ennaanay

Driss Ennaanay is currently Chargé de Mission auprès de la Direction Générale at OCP Group. His previous roles and positions include Manager of international programs and Program Leader at Riverside Technology, Lead Hydrologist and Research Associate at Stanford University, Environmental Engineer at Aqua Terra Consultants, Program Associate at the Engineering School of the University of Arkansas, and Researcher at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Ennaanay developed and led various models and tools for water resources management, environment, energy, ecosystem services, and climate change. His Research and Development has resulted in tools and information management systems, and numerous scientific and engineering articles in journals, conferences, and book contributions. As Entrepreneur, Dr. Ennaanay has been involved in few ventures and start-ups worldwide. He consulted several international development organizations including USAID, World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, UN-FAO, UNEP, The Nature Conservancy, WWF, Nile Basin Initiative NBI-ENTRO, and other entities on several projects worldwide. Dr. Ennaanay holds a Ph.D. in water resources sciences and engineering from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Engineering from the Institut Agronomique and Veterinaire Hassan II, Morocco, and an Entrepreneurship Certificate from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.


Mohamed Bennani

VP of Technology – Morocco Foundation USA
Mohamed is a co-founder of a new start-up based in San Francisco, a new search engine comparison website. Prior to that, he held a position of CTO at Barry’s Ticket Service. Mr Bennani received a BS in Computer Science and a Ms in Engineering Management from California State Universitty – Northridge.

Meryem Benjelloun

Meryem BENJELLOUN in an investment manager at Capital Invest, a private equity fund she joined in 2012. During her experience in Venture Capital, she’s participating in the investment of a 100 million Euros Fund. She is also responsible for the monitoring of several interests in the portfolio of Capital Invest, as well as the management of the deal flow.
Previously, Meryem began her career in the banking area within BNP Paribas Bank in Paris. She gained a 2 years experience as a financial in the risk management headquarters.
Meryem has a M.B.A degree from ESSEC MBA Paris and a M.B.A. exchange program of SASIN ‘Chulalongkorn University’ Bangkok, in addition to a Bachelor degree from ISCAE Business School Casablanca.
Meryem interacted with multiple associations in Morocco helping sick children and orphans before joining Morocco Foundation. She was recently elected General Secretary of Morocco Foundation Morocco.
In her free time, Meryem enjoys theater, latin dance, tennis and traveling.

Mohamed Adil MSIK

Treasurer MF Maroc
Mohamed Adil is an office manager at Bnet Technologies (Morocco) since 2007. He studied Business Management and IT at HEC Montréal (Canada). He was member of some local associations like “Réseau Africain des Affaires – HEC” as VP of technology, “Association des Etudiants Marocains au Canada” as VP of Technology and volunteer at “Fédération Marocaine du Canada”.

Asmaâ is Managing Director and Co-founder of Protector Security Services. Prior to that, she handled several key positions in G4S Morocco. Asmaâ holds an MBA From ENPC (Ecole Nationale des Ponds & Chaussées).

Abderrahman BENNANI

Ingénieur en réseau et système informatique
Abderrahman travail en ce moment en tant qu’ingénieur en maintenance informatique.
Il a eu un diplôme d’Ingénierie en Réseaux et Système Informatique à l’Ecole Marocaine des Sciences de l’Ingénieur (EMSI).
il a travaillé avec quelques associations au Maroc tel que ABT (a better tomorrow) avant de rejoindre Morocco Foundation.
