Morocco Foundation was featured on the Moroccan Channel 2M. The video highlighted some of the many successful School supply distributions that were conducted in the southern regions of Morocco. Obviously, there is more work to be done, but MF's Officers and Volunteers are dedicated to these Noble causes. Morocco Foundation Newsflash-Emergency Appeal
According to several News agencies, at least 25 people were killed due to heavy rains and flash floods throughout Morocco in the last couple of weeks.
Several provinces and cities including Essaouira, Al Houaz, Azilal, Chichaoua, Oujda , Errachidia, Zagora, Nador
and Tangiers were the hardest hit, with many homes submerged or damaged and roads made impassable, according to the Moroccan Interior Ministry in statements issued to the press.
Morocco received the highest levels of rains in 30 years for the September 17-Oct 19 period, according to local weather officials. -Reuters-

In-kind donations in Morocco to support the 'Banque Alimentaire' efforts in providing necessary food and basic items to the populations hit hardest.
